There is the electric, charcoal, gas and pellet type of grills, but what I find most suitable is the gas grill. It gives better flavor than electric, yet not as troublesome as charcoal, or expensive as the pallet grill. All it needs is propane or joining it to a natural gas line. Yet, charcoal and electric grill have their different need and use. In my years of growing up, I remember barbeques taking place almost every summer in my family. It was so much fun having a big gathering with family and friends relaxing on a warm day together. While the adults are busy preparing the meal, we kids would be playing all sorts of games, just being silly.
I recall it actually took a lot of time and effort to get a fire for barbeque going, due to the primitive tools. Probably in my parent’s time, it was an era of chopping and gathering wood in order to make a fire. During my parent’s time they used charcoal, with lots of fanning around the fireplace, ensuring it does not get too hot or our food would be burnt, but uncooked.
Modernization has produced a less messy and troublesome way to enjoy a fantastic grilling time, which is the gas grill, which is fairly easy to operate, compared to the older models.

Best Budget Gas Grill – Brinkman ProSeries 8300
This model is considered to be useful and effective for the class of grills it belongs to. You will have a warming rack and a side burner, the cook grates are porcelain-coated cast-iron which is not as good as Weber’s E series material.

It is of good size, meaning big enough for many people (lets say your family consists about 10 people) and with 4 burners and 58,500 BTUs, it is definitely a great grill to have.
Ignite the grill with just a push of the button. Heat distribution is rather even as I found out that cold spots are none or very minor. Although most grills would rust very fast due to the price, ProSeries keeps up pretty well, sitting outside only with a thin cover.
The addition of tool hangers is appreciated so that grillers have all they need nearby, while the side burners provide all-round heat and is a well-liked feature of users. Grilling need not be a time consuming affair anymore as this grill heats up in a mere 10 minutes!
You need to assemble it on your own and most people took about 2 hours to do so, while some say it is easy, some say its troublesome. Therefore, you should know yourself if you are adept at such tasks. However, the grease cup at the base of the grease tray is quite wobbly and I say that the front of the grill cover had some minor issues, but does not affect its performance.
Best Budget Gas Grill – Brinkman ProSeries 8300
Brinkman’s warranty is only two years, which throws doubts to some consumers. But you should realize that for the size and the price, it is a very affordable grill and if maintained well should be able to last a good 3-5 years and it is considered a reasonable deal for what its worth.

What I really like about this grill is its compact size. It weighs only 83 pounds, a fraction of its bulky E line relatives. Being small is one factor that encourages me to do more grilling for there is less hassle in setting up and cleaning up.

The taste of the food is still good, although the power of the fire is not as strong but it is a fully open gas grill. You can also grill directly or indirectly. Staying true to Weber’s use of superior materials, this small grill is also given the porcelain coated cast iron treatment on the cooking grate.
Turn on Weber Q-200 with a push of the button, and with 2 side work tables, you are unlikely to run out of space to place the needed things. A full sized stand to balance the grill is included in your purchase, compared to being optional previously. There are two tubular stainless steel burners- one works by running around the edges of the grilling area while the other cuts through the middle. This means it is powerful enough to make a place hot enough to grill steaks yet provides versatility when you can adjust the other burner to your preferred setting for different items.
Upon purchase, a hose and regulator for a 20 pound propane tank is included, which is great because at a total of 21, 700 BTUs, a 1- pound propane is not going to last long so you might as well get more and hook it to the regulator.
Best Portable Gas Grill : Weber Q-200
Don’t expect beautiful grilling though because it does not have numerous features like the E series, but if you live in an apartment and enjoy having cook-outs once in a while, then Q-300 is a right choice.

Weber Genesis E320 – Best Gas Grill with side burner
This model can be considered as the extension of the E-310 because all the specifications are the same. The extra element can be found in the 12, 000 BTU flush mounted side burner which is definitely welcomed. You will then have efficient heat output, even though the grilling area is pretty spacious, because of the 42,000 BTU and 12,000 BTU burners working together to provide even heating. That means no more overly hot spots or spots that are left cold.

The people at Weber give users the freedom to control their gas grill; the settings are easy to understand and adjusted according to your liking. You get to grill indirectly as well as have food that is almost raw but a tad burnt on the outer layer, using the sear function.
On the other side, you can set your grill to a lower temperature for items like chicken wings, which requires time to cook thoroughly. It also heats up fast, in about 10 minutes; it reaches maximum heat can easily sear. With just a push of a button, you can do crossing over of ignitions.
E-320 is tough with materials like porcelain coated sheet metal, cast aluminum and stainless steel as part of its construction. Again, what E-320 is lacking is the same as its predecessor (E-310) – the limited workspace which is not equal to the overall size of the machine. Why not a double or multiple layer hood instead of single layer? Sure, it may be made up of good materials, but I realize some parts are not highly graded stainless steel.
The warranty on this model varies according to the parts, some parts may be 2 years, some 5 years and so on, and therefore you have to read the manual carefully. It is truly commendable that Weber’s customer service is opened day in and day out, 364 days a year.

If you don’t mind forking out some extra money to ensure yourself a grill that can last up to many years, you may want to consider this model. Weber itself gives a 10 year limited warranty on the burner tubes. Other parts of the grill are warranted differently, some two 2, 5 or even 25 years and the company operates 24/7, 364 days a year to cater to customer’s needs.
Weber Genesis E-310 Gas Grill Review
The great things are porcelain coated cast-iron grates, which helps it to be consistent when heating. Due to its size, the grill is very stable yet simple to set up. What I like about it is the frame, which is very sturdy because it is made of welded steel. This steel is of higher quality than the riveted or bolt frames that are normally used to on cheaper grills.
Heat distribution on the E-310 is balanced as hot and cold spots, giving you perfect heat for grilling your food perfectly. It has 3 burners that you can configure, helping you to grill indirectly. You can also tweak the settings to get a hot sear area where you can get a nice charred color and taste on your steaks, without having them overcooking, and you can also have a cooler area to grill other items that require more time.
Some of the minor sore spots in the E-310 would most probably be the workspace, which I think should be expanded for the grill this size. There is only a single layer hood and some body parts although is stainless steel, they are of lower quality. All these little drawbacks hardly make a dent in this otherwise almost perfect grill, and I’d highly recommend it if you believe that a barbecue tradition will last in your family for a long time.
